  1. SPIHT - image Compression with Set Partitioning in Hierachical Trees

  3. spp is a distributable version of SPIHT's compression software which does not
  4. include any patented or copyrighted algorithms/methods.

  6. Amiga version is released with permission of the authors.

  15. Requires ixemul.library version 42.0 or greater
  16.  
  17. 68000 and 68030+68881 versions included

  19. Support software: I suggest getting gfx/pbm/ilbmtopbm.lha and
  20. gfx/conv/IFFtoSUN.lha as this software only supports ppm, pgm and SUN rasterfile
  21. images.

  23. Notes: CPU usage times are erroneous.
  24.  
  25. Future:  Another program I ported for my own interest.  Specific compilation
  26. versions may be available on request (depending on how many). In short; no
  27. future plans.
